80th Anniversary of VE Day Celebration

This performance will be part of a Beacon lighting event to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of VE Day and is taking place on the green at Chapel Row, West Berkshire, near The Bladebone Inn. It is being run as a free event for local people to come and celebrate the end of World War II. The music starts from 7pm but Beenham Wind Orchestra has been invited to play from 8 to 9pm. It is hoped that there will be some traditional games and people are invited to bring picnics. There will also be a beer table, run by The Bladebone Inn, and a cider table, run by Tutts Clump Cider.
