Band on the rec

Friday 24th June saw our return to the annual concert on the recreational ground in Beenham. It was fantastic to see a full audience equipped with chairs, picnic tables and blankets for a full evening of entertainment. Refreshments were provided by The Six Bells. Despite the weather trying to stop play, we had great fun performing a selection of our summer favourites enthusiastically led by our amazing conductor Victoria Benjamin.

It was also a sad evening as we said good bye to Jane. Victoria said it perfectly:

"Jane Hodgson, thank you from the bottom of the band's heart, for everything. Your musicality, humour and smiles will be sorely missed. Come back and see us when you can. "
